Croaker Fishing August 10, fishing report
The croakers are here! The croaker fishing is awesome right now. Anglers are reeling in double hitters as soon as they drop their lines. The croaker fishing started out on site 8, but in the last few days an abundance of fish have moved into the bay migrating up to Brown Shoal and the other reef sites. We are also catching a fair amount of flounder with a keeper ratio of 1:5. We are harvesting a nice variety of fish on our Charters and Head boat, which include king fish, bluefish, sea trout, trigger fish, blowfish, croakers and flounder. Come get in on the hot action, while the fishing is terrific. We are sailing 8-2 daily, with $5 off with a reservation. We still have some charters available too.
| Fathers Day Fishing Special
To celebrate Fathers Day, we are offering $5.00 off our afternoon Shark Fishing trip for kids. Mention this add when you call for reservations and Dad's ticket will be $20. We sail at 2:30 and return at 5:30. It's a great way to have a fun filled day.
| june 4,5,6 fishing weekend
It's been a frustrating week of fishing for Anglers targeting Sea Bass and Flounder. The catch at the wrecks and bouys has been on and off for the most part. We managed to bring in a couple of keeper Flounder and 2 dozen keeper Sea bass on our Saturday's charters. We are hoping the lull in catching will soon be gone, the fish will be out of their cycle of spawning and the water tempature rising. This should produce better catches. Sunday, we chartered the "Pirate king II" to the "Polish Library Ass." out of Wilmington, De.. Cpt. Brian ran the boat out to the Ole Grounds. The Anglers aboard, bottom fished for Sea Bass and Flounder. Meanwhile Cpt. Brian baited a Shark rod and set out the line . Just as they were getting ready to leave, a Thresher Shark hit the bait and gave the Anglers a good fight. They passed the rod around to 8 different people and spent 1hr and 45min reeling in the majestic Shark, before they landed it. The Thresher weighed 189.5 lbs. and so far is the biggest Shark to be brought in to the Lewes Docks. Everyone was elated and exhausted when returning back to port. If you are intersted in big game Sharking call Cpt. Ted at 302-745-5576 . Our summer weekend Charters are filling up quickly, so now is the time to book a Charter GREAT JOB CPT. | Memorial Day weekend Fishing Report
The weather over the weekend could not have been any better. With the full moon Thursday night , we anticipated a great fishing weekend. Friday's Head boat for Sea Bass and Drum delivered some great catches. The Sea Bass fishing was good, but not as plentiful as opening weekend. The "Angler and the "Pirate King II" brought in 9 Drum on the evening trips.
Saturdays waters were calm and with all the excitement from the day before, we were hoping for another great fishing day. Saturday mornings Head boat for Sea Bass was still decent, but had dwindled from Friday's catch. Saturday afternoon Drum trip headed out to the coral beds; where we were having so much success landing the monster Drum. To our dismay we could hear their loud drum beat, but they would not bite.
Sunday morning Capt. Don decided to try a new spot for the Sea Bass and it was a good choice. The anglers landed bigger fish with less throwbacks. The Sunday evening Head boat landed 2 Drums.
All and All it was a beautiful weekend with the weather and the fishing!
| Sea Bass Fishing Weekend of May 21
Sea Bass season opened this weekend with most Anglers making a mad dash out to site 11, in the Atlantic. The ocean looked like one big Flotilla of boats. The catching was red hot, with many Anglers limiting out. The catch ratio was 1 keeper to 3 throwbacks. It was Sea bass fishing at its best.
The drum fishing was off and on depending on the tides, but most of the big monsters are being harvested in the late afternoon and into the night. It's a thrill to catch one of these big ones; that you will never forget! Boats are bringing in 2-6 fish, when they are biting. The fish are averaging 40-80 lbs. The "Indian " brought in 6 fish this weekend with one 82lber and one 84lber. The Drum season is getting ready to peak , so this is the perfect time to get in on the exciting action.
Please call to make reservations for the Sea Bass fishing or Drumming for this Memorial Day weekend. We will be filling up quickly on our Boats

| May 14th 15th fishing report
This weekends Drum fishing has been on the rise. The night bite seems to be producing a better catch than the day fishing. The anglers on the Friday night headboat had a lot of smiling faces. The "Pirate King II" left the docks at 6:00pm and ran at to the coral beds, by 7:30 3 Drum were landed. The weather started turning bad, but we were able to harvest 6 more of the big boomers. A thunderstorm came upon us so we had to leave, and we were back at the docks by 9:00pm. The lucky Anglers were:
Clifford Churchwell III of Red Lion Pa. 52" 74lbs
Stephen Paules of Red Lion Pa. 51" 70lbs.
Barry Myers of Yoe Pa. 42" 65lbs
Paul Robertson and 2 of his buddies from Columbia Md. had the other 4 Drums. 68lbs and 62lbs. the others were not weighed.
May 15 The day bite on Saturday was not very productive, with 1` fish being harvestd by the Wagon Wheel Chapel out of Pa. on the "Pirate King II". The lucky Angler was Janet with a 60.5lbser. Saturday night head boat on the "Angler" was a fun and fruitfull night. The 4 Anglers aboard managed to land 4 drumfish. The Springs and Mike and Nicki GREAT JOB GUYS!
